is there any possible way to cut up my 96 grill to make it look like this?

Most of the "Type R" grilles look like shit. Especially the eBay ones.
Just cut and mod the 96-97 one and you will be just fine.

i actually had an ebay one made of abs plastic and never had a problem with it, but i know what you're speaking of kevin, I've seen some funked grills
