Honda Accord 2008 Specs and Information.

Well I was lucky enough to get this information straight from a Honda Rep. But here is some of the newest info on the 2008 Honda Accord that no one seems to have yet. Straight from mike_sho himself.

2008 Honda Accord Release Date: SEPT 12TH. Yes you heard correct September 12th the Sedan will be on showroom floors and ready for purchase. Shortly after around the end of the month the coupe will be released.

The LX 4cyl will be 180hp! The EX model 4cyl will have a 200hp motor!

Then the V6 Model will be sporting 273HP tire shredding HP. Quite a powerplant and boasting the highest hp for a sedan in this price range. Beating out Toyota and others.

The DX model is gone and yes again the Accord is going to be getting bigger. So much so it will be in a new class which im afraid to even let the words come from my mouth. But any smart individual can figure it out what class the car is now in.

You are correct FULL SIZE sedan. But Honda wont be touting this but sure enough its getting larger with each release. I will be test driving one as soon as they come out so I will release the full details once they come around.

Also a new edition to the line up will be the accord LX-p adding luxury features to the LX model , as well as the LX-S , adding sporty features to the LX model.

i'm not really digging the sedan look. the coupe is very attractive.

rear lights on the sedan looks very nissan-ish from that picture, and its not one of my favourites.

HONDA STOP WATERING DOWN YOUR ACCORD PLATFORMS. We don't need anymore BUICK Competitors In North America. EVery Generation Accord since the 6th GEN's are butt ass ugly, unless you slap a body kit and some wheels on them.
Lets bring SEXY BACK HONDA. I have been holding on too my 6GEN hoping the guyz in the designing Dept will get it right and build an Immaculate Accord that will make the BENZ & BMW owners stray. Forget about Toyota and Nissan, be a trendsetter and stop beign a damn follower of making ugly cars. You are really down playing the name of the ACCORD buy forcing your loyal Accord customers to make a decision between a Buick or an Accord.

I wouldn't have said this in 22 years, but its sad to Hyundai iz even making better styling cars than you. If you keep sitting with your thumbs up you @ss am gonna burn my Honda and purchase a Benz. LETS GET IT RIGHT

Thanks for your honest input. A Honda Accord car shouldn't be ressembling another car makers car. It should be prestige, has its own character and attitude.

My thing is, if Honda is going to make such a big effing car they should make it rear wheel drive. Isn't like the front engine/rear drive equation doesn't work, look at the 350z.

Sonovva, I knew the '08 accord V6 was going to have 270 HP. I graduated from college a year too early, just bought an '07 coupe with 244 HP. I like my car's exterior a tiny bit better but 273 HP VRM engine vs standard 244 HP engine is uncomparable IMO. Plus the VRM engine will possibly attain better gas mileage, .

Wow, the i4 EX are going to have 200HP, that's a grip.

Hey dude I'm with on almost everything but my 7thgen cpe is not butt ass ugly also comeon dude...Hyundai?? their interiors suck, display is garbage and exteior is not all that..but they have came along way.i agree on that..i get ur point

the 7th gen is certainly no head turner and why should alnyone expect an ACCORD to. these have to be marketed to a VERY wide demographic of consumers. not sub-30 sport-enthused single professional and/or student male. think family men and women, middle-income with children.
