Angry Hot Air through VENTS

90 Accord EX.....just started here lately.....with all vents closed....driving through this heat....engine heat is coming through the defroster vents, and if I open the other 4 vents, the heat comes through them also....why is this? didn' t use to do it.

You can use re-circulated air, and outside air. Use recirculated air if you dont want the engine heat.

Even if you don't have your fan on, you will still get outside air coming into your vents. The only way to prevent this is to use your re-circulate button. This will close off all outside air from coming into your car. Even if you don't have any buttons pushed it will still default to fresh air. This is why you get air coming through your vents.
