I wouldn't worry about it....does it idle any higher once the engine has warmed up a bit? Does the engine feel boggish at all during accelleration? Have you done any recent mods or in due of a scheduled tune-up?

once it warms up, thats when it idles low, i think its been doing it for a while, before my intake install, the car shakes a little when it goes really low, it accelerates fine and all

hmm...yeah that might just mean that you're in due for a tuneup soon. But accords have been pretty infamous for their 'ratting' at idle...I know in my 4th gen the car shakes a bit when I'm stopped and I can feel the steering wheel shaking my hand...but from what I hear all of them do that. Have you messed around at all with your timing?

You could also readjust your idle speed, mine use to idle somewhere between 250-400 and i did this along with a tuneup, and its str8 now. Just a suggestion.

I'm accually having the same problem for a few weeks. I just recently had my timing belt & water pump changed. Can it be something needs to be adjusted?

Mine idles around 700 or so if im sitting at a light or what not. It usually sits around 1200 before its warmed up. I wouldnt really worry about it going down to 5-600. Seems like a lot of people have the same thing going on, so unless they say somthing happened, then dont worry

but do you know how to adjust it?

I hear that peoples honda accords shake, but this one shakes bad the whole front and the dash rattles. I noticed that if you rev just a little bit by just lightly stepping on the gas eliminates the rattling. I wanted to get instructions or info on how to adjust the idle speed.

you gotta turn the idle air screw located on your throttle body.
you should do it with an under the hood tach for accuracy, with all accessories off and the car at operating temperature which means the cooling fan comes on two times in series
