i have an aem short ram....is there a way that i can buy the extention for cold air....does aem make it and do they sell it? thanks

no.. they do not sell extensions. but you can get the piping and the clamps from homepot and fabricate it yourself.

Hoe-dar is an unknown quantity at this point
Here's what you do, my friend. You keep the short ram on there and you build a heat/air shield around the cone filter. You completely isolate it from the rest of the engine bay, forcing it to only suck colder air through the hole where the resonator used to go. A few people have done the mod and experienced benefits (ie. they check the temp of the pipe after lots of driving and the pipe is much cooler with the shield). Do a search on here and you can probably find it.

yeah i heard of that too. I believe injen sell a heat sheild, or you can build one yourself.
