miles per gallon
how many miles per gallon do you guys get? i don't care whether you have a civic or a prelude or an accord ... i just want to see what kind of gas mileage you get and how hard everyone drives their car
for some reason.. my miles/tank has dropped dramatically recently.. from like 330/ tank to like 290/tank..
i'm not sure what it is.. everything in the engine seems ok.. i'm thinking maybe caue i put on my 17's.. and the tire sizes don't match up with the stock tires..
If my cat. converter is heated up, I'll get around 33 mpg. In my normal city/freeway mix, I'm averaging around 30 mpg. That ends up being ~400 miles/tank.

Yea, I have a 99 accord sedan 4 cyl auto and getting very close to 30mpg, about 400 miles per tank. Yup.

It could be the fact that other people who have good milage drive the freeway most of the time while you drive surface most of the time. For my 400 miles to the tank, about 300-350 miles would be on highway.

you're probably right ... all mine are city driving, plus i drive hard, hoping that my car will somehow become fast. :
22 is pretty normal man... specs are around 23 city and 30 highway... I usually get around that too, around 22-25 city, depending on how often I try and fly off the line, and on a recent road trip I got 30-32 on the highway. That's in an auto too, manuals will get a few mpg better than auto's will. I wouldn't be worried about your mpg, that sounds about right, especially if you drive it somewhat hard. If we wanted cars that had GREAT gas mileage we'de get a metro!..You buy those, then buy a new one when it runs out of gas!
