i got a 2002 accord 2.3 ltr 4 banger and i cant seem to get it to pass the smog test here in nevada. i just replaced the cat and the lower sensor on the car. and it is still throwing a code for the cat being bad. my question is do i need to replace the upper sensor as well?
the ecm compares what the first sensor reads with the second one, but the first sensor also plays a part in your fuel mixture. if your first sensor was bad then it should also be throwing a code
did you reset your codes after you put the new cat and sensor on?
if you did then i would think that maybe you have a problem with the connector where the second sensor plugs in, maybe a loose pin or corrosion?
Is the site working for you guys. It hasn't worked in over a week for me except when using the phone app. I get a SQL database error when I use a browser
