OEM Body Kit?
since the oem body kit was discontinued in 99 because of poor sales and a new body style in 2k1, if i have the 2000 accord coupe and buy the body kit for a 99 or 98, will it still fit the 2000? ne help would be greatly appreciated.

98-00 got the same body, 01-02 got a wider bumper. and yes, the oem kit fits on the 98-00 accords.

inline4 is an unknown quantity at this point
it wont look right... the older bumper has a rounded bottom whereas the 2k1 has a line up top and isnt round. the lines wont match

You can get the kit at www.hparts.com or www.handaaccessories.com

But it's pretty expensive again right now...it got cheap for a while but the price is back up to normal. I personally am waiting on the price to come back down again which hopefully will happen soon. Also, I emailed both sites about possibly doing a groupbuy for us on the OEM kit but got no response.

yea i know that the 2k1 has a diff body style..but i was wondering about the 2k coupe. seems that the overall consensus is that it will fit..now time to wait for hparts to drop their prices again

haha actually i think they all got lowered just some colors more than others (like taffeta white got lowered a lot while nighthawk black just a lil) but hey its still a discount! check hparts.com too
