press clutch car and RPMs drop

hi, just like the title says. I have a 96 accord with an H22 swap, and when I push the clutch in the rpms will drop. sometimes they drop so low that the car stalls. the car idles at about 750 rpm, but its hard to get it to idle without it cuting out first. also the car stalls out when I an coming to a stop and put it in neutral.

FYI: i've cleaned the iacv, replaced the fitv and cleaned the tb... does anyone know what else could be wrong with the car? I've heard many things such as the release bearing and pressure plate, but I had this problem before I had the transmission replaced and it still exists. any help would be Greatly appreciated, thanks

steve

Well the did they replace the clutch when they replaced the tranny? If it was a throw out bearing, clutch broblem the replacement tranny would nowt help.

the only reason the transmission would make the engine idle so low is if the clutch is still engaged with the flywheel while in gear. if the rpms drop and you're in neutral, then you need to adjust the idle screw on the throttle body.

which intake are you running right now? are all your vacuum lines connected correctly?

in response to shortlid- I had the clutch replaced before I had the transmission put in, but the problem existed before I replaced either.

in response to ultramagneticAL- my vacuum lines are in working order, and I'm using the stock manifold...

any suggestions now? once again any help will be greatly appreciated
thanks, steve

oh and the problem also happens if I'm coming to a stop, I put the car in neutral let off the clutch and the rpms still drop, maybe even causing the car to stall
