type-r pwr window motor for 90-93 accord EX

does any body have a used power window motor for a 90-93 accord EX ? my friends went bad like on friday and its like 10-20 degrees here so he needs one fast. he got an estiment form jones honda (local dealership) something like 500-600 bucks so if any one can help let me know either on here or on aol ( aerozeppelin420 ) thanks

I'd try the local wreckers first. Around here they sell them for about $100 or so. And you can also get rebuilt ones as well. Even if you get one from someone here. You still have to pay S/H and then you have to wait for it to get delivered. Good luck.

How do you know its the motor and not the switch, or fuse?

Make sure you check it out before you spend that kind of money.

Also from the look of your urgency Im assuming the window is down in the cold.
You can remove the door panel and put the window up manualy.
