QUICKV6ACCORD is on a distinguished road
Radiator hose HELP!

How do I take off the lower radiator hose w/o completely removing the radiator from the car and what is the easy way to get the thermostat out I drive a 98 accord v6

well, it's very easy to remove the radiator. but if you insist on doing it in the car, you might have to remove the lower splash shield to gain clearance to the lower rad. hose clap.

it's probably rusted badly, so get a new clap before you remove it. the lower radiator hose connects to the thermostat housing.

if you're only planning on only doing the thermostat, just remove the thermostat housing with the hose still attached to it. it's all very basic and visual.
