tech wrench rear engine mount

I having trouble with the engine control soldnoid valve(located on the firewall behind the intake manifold). Its making a clicking sound when my car is in idle when you give it a little gas and it passes about 700rpm it clicks once and however high you reve it when it comes back down and goes pass 700rpm it clicks.

I believe one hose goes to intake manifold and one goes to rear motor mount. Do you have any ideal why it would be clicking? thanks..

no idea. is it still working right?

what u can do is disconnect the electrical connector and start revvin the engine and notice how much the back of the mount moves. and the whole engine.

then reconnect it and rev about the same way you were before and see hwo much it moves, if its the same it may be ddamaged, if it isnt then u may be fine.

i didnt even know there was a engine mount silonoid. hahah... All of a sudden one day I started hearing a click noise when I just tap on the gas and let go. Around 700. It would be pretty hard to remove the rear engine mount huh?
