REflash ecu?

Ok i recently purchased a new ecu for my 5spd same year same model 98 accord ex 4cyl 5spd. My car has an immobilizer system on it. But the new ecu and the old ecu dont have the same frequency for the immobilizer keys. Does anyone know how to pull the frequency off of the ecu w/o paying honda $102 for the frequency. FYI i have access to an oscilliscope if you can get some schematics or something.

you can go to another honda dealer that will do it for less.

or you'd have to find the output signal on the key...probably by opening it up, then looking for the pin that goes to the transponder. then somehow wire that up in such a way that the oscilloscope can read it.
