Road noise( i think) and swap question
For a while now I have noticed an ocillating noise coming from the front of the vehicle. The frequency of the noise is directly related to the speed i am traveling, but not the rpms of the engine( put it in neutral). At first I thought it was the tires, I had them replaced but the sound is still there. Its pretty loud especially between 40-70mph.
I have a 1995 Honda Accord LX 4door AT with 237k on her. Original engine, shocks, struts, ball joints, wheel bearings and steelies. Its vintage some might say. I have replaced my exaust with a 2.25 in one that i made myself (1 glass pack, 1 cat, 1 muffler) and headers, but i dont think its an exhaust noise.
Any ideas on what it might be?
My other question is on a h22a swap. Two Parts: 1 someone is selling a 98 h22a4 complete with trans for 250bux, it needs new rings and the cylinders honed (2 cylinders are low comp.) Is this still worth it? Part 2, can i put a 98h22 in my 95?
Any advice/info would be much appreciated.
Thankyou,
WNX
