Had just entered freeway when suddenly, car felt different. Had just turned car on a few minutes earlier and was on my way home from work. Everything felt normal b4 then. Ever since, car is not being its normal, quiet self. I feel a slight rumble and fuel economy seems to have dipped a bit. I don't feel a vibration on steering wheel so I don't think that's the problem.
Could anyone help me out in solving this matter? It would b greatly appreciated. I cannot afford the decreased fuel mileage.
1. Check tire pressure on all tires.
2. Inflate tire is it has low pressure.
3. Drive around and check if you can still hear rumbling.
4. Find out what area the rumbling is coming from.
5. Note your findings here.
Since tires are all new and have been properly inflated,
they are not problem.
I believe noise is coming from torque converter or somewhere in that area. I notice trans kind of slipping.
Would anyone be able to help me resolve this issue w/o putting too much money into it?
Greetings.
Here again still trying to resolve this issue on my 2005 Accord.
Does anyone know what effect Lucas Transmission Fix would have on my Honda transmission. Would it be safe to use on a transmission that is slipping?
Torque converter is making rumbling sound.
Not sure on what I should do at this point.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks, AW
