2001 Accord. My wife went shopping, I stayed in car listening to radio with engine off. She came back 1/2 hour later, and car wouldn't start. Good Samaritan came by, hit the starter with a hammer until it worked, and I replaced it the next day. My question, was it just a coincidence when it died, or did running the radio for 1/2 hour cause it somehow?
Running the radio may have drained the battery if it was old. It would have done nothing to the starter. When was the last time you replaced the battery?
Battery was a year old, max. Plus, I don't think it was run down at all. When we got the car started with the hammer, we didn't have the jumper cables on. Still, seems like a weird coincidence.
Probably just a coincidence. It has nothing to do with you listening to your music.
