Question Why are 1157 bulbs so dull on 6th gen acc.s ?

I tried alot of different types of 1157 bulbs for the front blinkers of my 00 Accord. Right now, i have the 1157 Xtreme Whites. But all of them are like dull and not bright when its in parking mode. I have seen some Accords w/ very bright blinker bulbs. Anyone kno where i can get some?

Well they are the PIAA Xtreme White bulbs. They are bright when it flashes. But when its idle, its like a dim bluish/green color. I like the bulbs, but it dont match my headlight color. I thnk im gonna try to buy those LED 1157 bulbs. But they're too expensive.

i dont have an accord but you can probably rewire it with a relay. Just make it so it uses both of the coils in the bulb then when you signal. it turn "off then on" instead of the coil going "on then off" Hope you're understanding what i'm trying to say.

get Raybrig R115... these are clear bulbs with white tips. they have higher wattage than stocks or maybe even Polargs... these are not the blue bulbs that are supposed to shine white like Polarg bulbs... they're just regular bulbs but brighter... at close-up, they dont look bright, from a distance they're almost as bright as your stock headlights when on non-blinking mode... i have them on my car and i'm pretty happy with them.

you can get them at www.optauto.com, they charge a lot for shipping and handling for just a pair of bulbs though... to save on shipping you might want to order several stuffs at once
