I'm not to familiar with litium batts, but i am pretty sure that its a goner. it's possible that corrosion is building up inside the casing from one reason or another and its getting ready to rupture.

Swelling doesnt sound so good. I think its toast...it probably stayed at zero too long and this causes the battery to kinda fall apart.

any kind of swelling means the thing is bad. Don't attempt to charge it or it will explode. The video below shows what happens when there is a swollen cell as a result of being over charged.

Yeah or maybe when trying to charge dead batteries. I know I fucked up the other night on my hanger9 battery for my starter box.

I let it overcharge 6 hours or so, on a 12hour charge. So 18 hours charging.

It happened because I thought the wall charger was a peak charger...not just a charger....heh. So anyway I came in next morn and was like oh shit its still going.

Then I felt the battery was pretty cool to the touch...so im sitting there kinda waking up...and im like. Is that rain outside?? Then im like whats the fucking bubbling sound. I get down next to the battery.

I hear a withces couldron a brewing in that thing. It was hissing and gurlging. I was like oh my that cant be good....lol. I immediatly unplugged it and kinda just set it out back. But it seems to be ok. Works good.

Ill be sure to time it so It doesnt go so long next time....lol.
