My new Nitro Touring car: HPI R40

Well Its not new, but I got this a bit ago used from a friend. Needed a few things to finalize it and I went and added in a few things to spice it up a little bit.

Will be racing it next weekend. Hopefully I will do good.

As you can see ive been copying some of the setups off of the HARA R40.

Soon it will be done. Will have videos on possibly monday.

Well today I finally got myself a starter box and assembled it. Going with all the wires everywhere and the amount of screws and terrible instructions and crap. I was thinking damn this might be too much and I dont want to half ass it and turn it on and watch everything fry.

But I started off slow and started with the pegs on the bottom, then moved onto the power button and so on and so on.

Finally it was all just too easy. Slapped the R40 on top and gave it a spin....man a starter box and motor sound crazy when getting turned over.

Well goodbye pull-starts. I can now start buying the non-pull start engines.

Im starting the R40 up today. Well see how it goes.

Well I fired it up last night....OMG TEH NAWSSSSSS. This thing is the fastest RC ive ever owned. I barely get on it and its shot across the parking lot.

It sounds like....I dunno but it sounds way sicker than my racer2 with cv-r. Novarossi Motor + RD Logics Turbo II Pipe = Teh sex.

I didnt get videos , but will have some soon. I will also have a bunch of videos from the HPI Challenge.

So, it should be tight.

Nice car. Makes me wanna get one again. I used to have a Mugen Seiki touring car and damn was it fast. Just got a little boring by myself since there were no other people to race with.
