old school losi buggy XX

i just went to my parents house and found my old buggy, its a XX LOSI full ball bearing, and all kinds of cool upgrades, but i took the electronics out of it for my RS4 micro, does anyone still make parts for the XX?? cause im considering recommisioning it to full duty

I dont think so. They usually stop parts with the following generation, right now the xxx is in its "2nd" generation.

Finiding parts will be hard, but Im sure there were enough out there that you could still find them.

You can get XXX full graphite kinwald edition rolling chassis for $60 bucks. You can get electronics and go with that.

Brand new fast motor $30
Used ESC $30
!b3800 6 cell pack and build it yourself or buy an ab3800 sport pack from rcmart for around $30 , s3010 servo $10 and plug in your rx,

well i have all the electronics, but they first migrated to my RS4.... then later migrated to my RS4 micro and thats where they reside to this day, i can pull em out an dput em back in the buggy, but i guess its a better bet to just buy a new buggy and completely retire the XX you think the MIP dogbones and stuff will fit in a XXX ?

Not sure I just know the ke edition is wicked. I have 3 of them...they drive amazingly. Its basically all kinwald uses...so you essentially get a team edition car. Which means....when it goes to the track if your a good driver you can beat every single person out....you wont have to say...damn if I just had that better buggy.

Allthough there is the bk2 now...its almost the exact same thing , just gets more traction and isnt as twichy in the bumpies.

My xxx is loaded with graphite, its not a KE, but it has all the same parts. In retrospect, it wouldve been much easier to just buy a KE, but I like building things.

I think the bones will work, but Im not sure any other chassis pieces will. I mean, if you buy a XXX, and you have the dogbones already, your not loosing anything by trying them out.

Yeah one was brand new , the other two were bought of ebay used for 60. Basically they are my extra part buggies...but they are in pretty much perfect condition.
