Hey what up all! I own a nitro 4-tec that uses the .15 engine. I had a pretty bad reck and broke the stock muffler so now im looking for a replacement. Are there any good to great subs. for her?
Hey I have a nitro 4-tec too . I got a tuned pipe, but it's the one for the t-maxx (same engine). It depends on if you have the new 2.5 engine or not. If you have the older .15 pro then you'll need to get a tuned pipe for that engine. The tuned pipe sounded better, and it increased my acceleration by a good stretch. (spins all four tires from dead stop), but of course I did drop down one level shorter for the gears. Gotta love the 2speed tranny. Good luck.
actually I still have my oem muffler for the 4tec in my hobby box if you wanna buy it off of me, i'll sell it for cheap since it's just collecting dust anyways i can take a picture if you like...

my oem pipe looked a little dif then that so im not sure, mine was held together with a nut at one end that pulled the 2 halves together. Are those screws on the edge?

Why dont you get a new pipe. The stock ones usually suck.

well if that's the course you wanna go, I think this is about the only tuned pipe that'll still fit the old .15's since they don't make much for them now since basically EVERYTHING but the nitro sport has the 2.5 now,
It's a little expensive but they're worth it. That one is $49, and I think besides the mounting points, it's pretty much the same one that I have. Mine was the t-maxx one (same engine though)

I have a ribbed torque pipe on my sedan. They are pretty chill.
