Where to get cheap radio / transmitter / reciever crystals?
I noticed on ebay they do actually have generic crystals. I think there was one called yeah racing and it said never be on the same channel again. Im thinking these crystals are on bands that no one has...so how could you really use them and im sure they would still interefere with other bands cause if your not right on it, your in the middle of it so im sure you would have to pick it up.
Either way though I guess you would just say your on that channel thus keeping people away from your frequencey....at least to one side.
It also was like 6 sets for 20 dollars and worked with futaba. Im wondering what else is out there. I saw a crystal set for 17...thats better than I think the 29 or so dollars it costs retail for one set of crystals.

Thoose are probly on a 49 mhz band which is illegal for racing. What all of us big racers have now is the new spectrum. You have to have a M8 or one of the brand new Futaba 3pk to get it. You put the module in your radio and use the supplied reciever and when u turn your radio on it searches for a open channel and puts you on it. If your on a sertain channel and someone turns on their radio in the pits it will automatically change frequencies to one that no one is on. pretty neat eh
