This coming from the guy that was asking for suggestions on how to make a D16Y8 fast when all he's gonna do is keep it in a little-piggy of a car sporting some heavy-ass 17" Konig shoes?
I would suggest ditching the 17's for some lighter wheels and replacing the more than likely stiff coilover sleeves on blown stock struts for some suspension components that actually work before you worry about gaining some 1-3% power gain from a performanced-challenged motor and bashing a guy who's trying to point out the diminishing marginal returns of your quest simply because he drives a Nissan.
I'm tell you all this as a guy who's gone through the rigers of trying to build a D16Y8 to stuff back into a 6th gen coupe and realizing in the process that it's just not worth it. In the end, I just took what parts of my project that I could salvage and stuffed it into the project hatch.
