all motor for scca/auto-X

I'm under the ideas of the theory that it takes alot more skill to run a road course than it does a 1/4 mile. I'm not putting down drag racing or anything, but lets be honest. So being that, I also think that the all motor set up is always best for track racing, being as it doesn't cause as much problems, heat, lag, money, etc... Does anyone out there agree, or have any places in the southwestern U.S. to do such road racing legally?

I found lots of listings for Santa Fe, Farmington, Roswell,....No Albuquerque, that was the point I was driving at, mkay,(circa Mr. Mackey 2000).
