B18C5+auto = retarded

if you want something thats fast and automatic go buy a vette or M3 or something.

honestly its completely useless.

now when you are talking about v6 and v8's runnin single digit quarter mile times. its because the transmission is BUILT for that reason.
ie. 2 speed powerglide trans. 3 speed powerglide.
blah blah blah.
i dont think honda intended to used a powerplant like the b18c5
equipped with an automatic transmission.
if anything. you would be better off slapping on a turbo kit to your y8
in theory you would be quicker than another 98 ex stock for stock. except for the turbo kit.

what are you plans for this vehicle.

Its definitely possible, and theres already threads up about this, but its true man. manny transmission ftw.

not to mention hondas autos are reallllll sucky. I agree that you need to figure out what you want out of the car first.

agreed. you won't find one geared to take advantage of the c5's powerband, and it would be very hard on the transmission to begin with. you could do the jdm gsr auto swap, but even then it really wouldn't be worth it.

if you want a lil more power... sell your 95 ex and buy a prelude or accord
better than investing into a b18c5 (or if you got a clean b18c5 lying around,
sell it and buy and buy abetter stronger / more reliable / faster car.)

have fun <3
