foam filters flow better but dont filter as good as oiled cotton (k&n type)
imo, if sticking with a plenum manifold, just grab a 3" pipe that fits, put a prototype racing or bpi velocity stack on it, and put a k&n filter on that. makes better power than standard sri and cai's.
otherwise....itb's > *

i'm hoping to gain some midrange. The flywheel i just installed really helped my low end torque out and giving me some more midrange would really flatten out my torque.

foam is better and ram air is even better, buid an aluminum air box with a foam flat filter that would be dope!

I decided to try to fit an hks mushroom cage on the end of a velocity stack with a red hks foam pad in there. I think this should be a great setup.... w/velocity stack and a foam filter lol..... I will be ordering this for mysetup shortly

thats what i said. the filter is awsome and rebuildable, all you need to buy is the filter for it and those are like $20

aight, i just put it on. I'd like to do some datalogging and see if it changed my a/f any. Before and after datalog runs should, in theory, yield a leaner mixture. I dont think i necessarily gained any more power, yet the power just feels smoother. Not to mention the intake is loud as sin now.
I'll do a comparison when i hit the dyno again.
