K series, it's the future. B series has a lot but the K's are going to go above and beyond all of that, and H22 is great too but there's just not as many parts nor will there ever be.

Well, i like the B series motors. Espically the b18c series. But, like above, they are slowly falling to the way side to the K series. Myself, i will stick my my b18c1 till it dies, then go to a k20 motor. The h22 had alot going for it. But, the aftermarket isn't there for it. But, it's all up too you.

as much as i love my motor. The only motor i would trade for mine is a k20 or b18c5. They respond to mods much better than the h22 does.

I'd luv to stay with the B series as long as i could but K20 is the new wave right now....
I've seen down here some guys did a K20 swap into a EG hatch, bone stock in a full body car did 13.9 down the 1/4... with proper tuning and some bolt on's .. well you could just imagine, by the way they plan on keeping it N/A.

THE best motor for an NA beast is not a honda motor...that's for sure. Hell, the best motor probably doesn't even come out of japan. but if you're seriously willing on putting in the wrench time, then you can probably get a bigger, stronger, faster engine to fit into whatever chassis you damn well please.
now...if you meant the best HONDA motor....please specify that because w/ the crazy swaps people are doing now-a-days, anything is possible.

toyota makes 100+hp/L NA motors for their race cars too
mazda's rx8 makes 240hp from 1.3L.....so your power per liter argument just went down the shit hole.
power isn't everything.....
