Cam gear adjustments on s2s2's
Currently goin to try something new but i dunno which way to turn ..no pun intended
as most of you know my setup i'm running the skunk2 stage 2 cams, currenlty +2 on the exhaust and +1 on the intake..i've seen some great power from this combo, however. i was wondering i should switch it up..i know this motor has alot more left in it, but i dunno if this combo is really for me..i was goin to do +2+2 on the cams tonight, but i dunno..i've tuned the car out for 0/0 and +2+2 and all the other combos within 2 of each other..
i'm not currently worried abotu valve to valve contact, matter of fact, i'm not worried at all, i'm more worried about valve to piston contact, although i did clay my motor for up to +4 on each i however wanted to get some opinions on how i should go
i've always stuck to the rule of thumb that the cams shouldn't be seperated by more then 3 degrees, and i really would live by that, compared to my old cranes these cams are almost twice the size..this car has only be tuned 1 time with the cams adjusted to +1/+1 on the dyno i have not even fooled with the cams and i know..for a fACT i can unlock some huge gains if i can friggen just get free time to do a good cam setting study..what yall think?
