Check this dyno out..wtf..is it real or fake..
So local guys around here dont too much like me, and keep hush hush around me with their setups..(skurred to be ran down by a stock block R i guess)
anyway.. some local guy dynoed at our facitiy here in baton rouge, at corr...check this out, everything's quoted from their site..
""Well so far this vehicle has the record on our dyno as the most WHP on a NA set up. Here are the specs:
B18c5 block/B16a head
Cams are Buddy Club Spec 3+'s which is why the power stops around 8200.
+2,0 on the cam gears
This was on 93.
16 degrees at the dizzy.
Hondata mani gasket
Its got a 65 mm TB on it as well...
11.5:1
junk2 flat valves
junk2 intake mani
Hytech header
Apexi N1
440s
AEM 3 inch cai
Hondata s300
"
See this motor makes me think two things...
85x95?
84x91 or something of that nature.. they wont tell me the bore or stroke.. infact..nobody knows but two people its quite annoying because i'm looking for sure to base upon for my setup
I have higher compression, itbs, bigger cams, ported head, same injectors, bolt ons only thing he has on me is a better header..
and this is quoted from one of the people that had a hand in the work of this motor
"portwork itself is stock, the compents are not..tho"

what kind of dyno is it?
hytech headers have been known to add quite alot of HP for a bolt-on... as much as 18 iirc
perhaps it's stroked??

I think something is wrong. There's no way in hell that setup can get 265whp.
Was the dyno run immediately before and after that run? Would be informative to see what the results were on them.
Buddy Club Spec3+ cams don't even make lots of power....
also...look at the torque...it makes almost a solid 180TQ to the wheels from 3100rpm on....that's like a v6 plot...
can you say JRSC
Just look at the plot of the torque and you'll know that never came from a N/A b-series, even if it was bored and stroked to hell. 180WTQ @ 3100 RPM? riiiight

Yeah, theres something wrong. That setup is good for a HUNDRED sixty-five horsepower, not 2. FULLY BUILT B-Series engines barely make 265, and thats with bring, stroking, monster cams, and 14:1 compression ratios.

werd...with the setup in that list I would expect 190whp or so and be impressed with 200-210whp

I see around 180whp before it even crosses over in vtec. Impressive.

I don't think so....even with a crazy high-reading dyno the torque curve wouldn't look like that.

Actually i think its a 84x89 or 95mm setup..
but its not a high reading dyno infact its a dyno dynamtics which reads about 12~17% lower then a dyna pack or dyno jet..
i'm just tryin to aim for someone numbers for my car..no way its a stock bottem end..i've put well over 6 grand into my head alone and i'll only probably break 210whp.. he has a shitty head setup so the power has to be coming from the bottem end..

So you're saying 180wtq @ 3100 is possible on ANY n/a B-series setup?

i know you're not an idiot! that's why I'm giving you a hard time about even considering a n/a b-series setup making those kinds of numbers at 3000rpm
180wtq at 3000rpm is like a built k24 or something (actually I doubt even a k24 setup could do that easily)
