yeah thats right co2 not no2...anyone have heard anything about it. It makes the air going into the engine more dense through temperature decreases, and apparantly adds HP.. i saw a system in JCWhitney..anyone have any thoughts on it?

i would understand if C02 were being used to cool the air coming into the engine, but forcing co2 into the combustion chamber seems absolutely nuts. as in....it wouldnt work.

I've read some stuff about the cry02 systems, I would love to put one in my car, I just don't have the money. I would say go fo it, it should quite a bit of power, it's cheap to refill, and shouldn't be any harder to install than a n02 kit.

its probably more expensive than a n02 kit, and n02 will yield better results.
however the rules apply as they do always
power reliability price
you can only ever pick two of those.

wut the fuck is a NO2? if i remember correctly from my 7th grade chemistry,
that is a nitrite ion. please correct me if i am wrong because i am not a chemist.
i do know what a N2O is... nitrous oxide.
btw. good luck putting carbon dioxide in your car.. because u will need all that luck.

if you had some kinda mechanism to separte the n from the o2 (and expel the n) then that would make you gain hp fromt the pure o2 in the form of a giant explosion putting an end to your car and anyone hit by the car parts flying in a the 100ft radius around it.

i assuming no one has seen the episode of trucks on tv where they explain exaclty how n20 works..... basically the "O" in the n20 is what gives the horse power all the nitrous does is make the oxygen burn a little slower due to the fact of the high flamabilty of oxygen so basically all co2 is doing is replacing the nitrious factor in the entire equation and helping to burn the oxygen slower

not quite, the c02 doesn't get injected into the intake. It get injected into either a bulb that sits in the intake tract or a fuel cooler, or something that cools something else. So it's not gonna hurt anything unless there is a leak, which is unlikely.

Yes while co2 has cooling properties, that alone will give some hp gain. co2 is the product af all explosions, of thing burning up, there is no way for it directly to give more hp.
