Compression Ratio and Pump Gas

So, from what I understand the JDM has a dynamic compression ratio of 11:1. Not to be confused with the static 11:1 compression ratios of USDM Celicas and S2k's I'm told.

So, should I be running a mixture of 100 and 93 octane? Should I just run straight 100? From what I'm gathering, people are saying 93-94 octane won't cut it. Anyone have experience with this?

As far as I* know, you should be fine on premium gas for 11:1 compression. Especially if you tune it for that.

11:1 comes stock in the type S. You would think you would run pump gas. I;ve seen pump gas run up to 13:1 compression

11.5:1 on the celica motors and we run 91 octane....the highest offered widely here in california. my friend is also boosting 2zz and he's still on pump gas. the pfc says he gets very minimal knock even in the upper end of the spectrum

I've heard of 13.5:1 on some ITR's on pump gas.

Edit: Fat Bradstard's 2.0 ITR is at 11.6:1 on pump gas, and seeing as 11.0:1 is stock on the type S it sure as hell better run on pump gas.

12.7:1 on 91 octane. Of course there's more power to be found if I switched over to 100 octane and got tuned for it.
