DH racing
hey guys i was wondering what do you think about those DH racing blocks? are they good for a road course when im staying in high rpm's for a long time or is it just good for short sprints for drag racing. i have a somewhat stock b20vtec and i was thinking getting better rods and higher compression pistons for it. Of course i was going to do most of the work but not honing my block since i got to take it to the machine shop. but taking out and installing everything was going to be all me. but ive seen some already built blocks on DH racing web site for only 3500$ which is not bad at all.they have 85 mm bore with high compression instead of 84 mm like i have now.and thats with the b16 block and b18a or b block. since my gsr head is already set up for a b20/lsvtec i will have to go with the b18a block at 85 mm .. but i dont know. one comes with block gaurd and i know i dont want that thing in my motor.. also the motor has been sleeved which is good.well im going to trying to email the company with my questions but if any you guys ever delt with these motors please give me some info.
personally, i would never do business with dave. I know alot of people would agree. I could give two shits about how good he is. If his customer service is shit.....fuck him.
