type-r Exhaust options

So here's the deal...I am swapping a 98+ JDM b18c5 in my del sol... Im very excited about this :clap been savin up and now it's on it's way! ...anyway i was thinking id keep the header, maybe some insulating wrap, get a 2.5" hi-flow cat, and then i was thinkin about a Greddy EVO2 cat-back exhaust (mind you i have a shop doin most of the labor) well after reading up on the exhaust, it seems that there's 60mm (2.38" piping)...i want 2.5" all the way through...this car will be staying N/A. any suggestions for a good cat-back exhaust? don't want to spend more than the 600 or so i was planning to spend on the Greddy. Thanks for your suggestions!

First of all do not use header wrap you dont need it and it will severly lessen the life of your header. Second I personally live the 5 zigen fireball cat back. It flows great and sounds incredible. I removed the secondary glasspack out of mine and replaced it with straight pipe and when boning out at over 9k rpms my car sounds like a streetbike with it haha.

ok i hadn't heard it would adversly affect my header...here's my next question... whats the collector size on a 98+ JDM ITR header? if its 2.25" (+/-60mm) anyway, then I guess the Greddy will work for me, i just need to get a matching cat. The 5Zigen was kinda loud and raspy for my taste...but to each their own, thanks for the input :byye

Tsudo, 2.5 N1, they offer a Greddy/Fireball/N1 styles, but tsudo's design has less bends and the piping is str8 2.5 all the way back, its a bolt up cat back system, and personally, all motor, geta testpipe or something, that high flow cat will serve u no justice, and the above poster is right, header wrap is garbage...a waste of money..spend the money you would waste on that shit, on a new set of plug wires/plugs.
Jdm 98+ spec headers, are in fact 2.5 collector, but the runner size is still small.. Aftermarket header wise, i run sparks, the runners are 1.75 inches wide, 4-1 with a 2.5 collector ran to a 2.5 flex pipe/testpipe thing i rigged up, then to the flange of my tsudo n1.. the n1 is very big yes, but its worth it, 220.00 full ss catback, you can't beat that, anywhere, my buddy will be any price u find too
its worth it, been on the car for almost 3 months, sounds awesome, vtec = godly loud, but its very quite when driving normally...
