Go for B Cup or D Cup??

Just wondering what you guys would do.

Got quote for ZC complete engine $8500 220-230Hp
and/or B18C complete engine $12500 300-320Hp

Link: to B18c setup: note the wide power band

http://www.superhonda.com/photopost/...time=1&way=asc

Going for B will probly end up costing $6000 more as need new mounts gearbox etc.

Currently I am very happy with the Zc in my ED crx I have now produces around 170hp but with ITRs, S15s and WRX around theres no way I can keep up as is now my car is somewhere between Integra Type R and Integra GSR/VTIR so looking for more ponies.

Car intended for circuit not drag
thanx

The problem with the whole set-up is the people who put it together. JG has a habit of doing good work on their cars but, not on customer cars. And I can tell you this, based on the specs, that motor would not be a good circuit motor, I wouldn't put a stroker crank in something that was above 6000rpms for minutes at a time.

To me, that's overpriced, especially without a transmission, you can get a motor that will make comparable(maybe 220-230whp) power on pump gas, and get it shipped to you as a complete changeover(motor, tranny, harness, etc.) for that price from another company. PM me, if you want my recommendations.

And what is this car going to be? Street car? Track only?

It seems your ZC should be faster than what you claim though...every B16 CRX I have done/seen would pull from an ITR with just I/H/E.

either way you go, good luck. Driving any thing with this much comp on pump fuel is a right ass. But if you can put up with it go nuts!!!
