Hello- I've posted about this before and still have not done a compression test. When I get into high rpms my car smokes and it smokes good- I was thinking it is a piston ring but now I'm not sure. Do you guys think it could be the valves??
yeah it MIGHT be the valves... my bro bent valves on his GSR and then when he got his head back it was smoking for a few days then he got some STOP SMOKE stuff and poured it in and it stopped... but get someone to take a look @ the head... also try a compression test before u do ANYTHING
Location: Barneveld, Wisconsin... yeah don't cha know

Yeah I'm gonna do a compression test soon- Call it my fault but I rev'd it out to 10 a couple times! This is on a stock valve train and ctr cams. I was thinking of getting a type r head but I think it would be more worth while to just port/polish and build the one I have now!
Revved it out to 10? on a stock valvetrain? I'm no expert but maybe you F-ed the valvetrain..and what engine management are you running to rev it out to 10?
what color is the smoke? Do a leak down test and a compression test. A compression test will tell you if the cylinders are leaking. A leak down will pin point what is leaking, ie: rings, valves
but :noo for going to 10k on a fucking stock head. Thats just asking to rebuild the motor.
