????Help on piston rings

Hey guys i have a b20 with high compression pistons an my car runs strong the pist ons are only 2 months old an i wanted vtec soo when i changed the head i notice the pistons were moving around but not alot just they had play is that normal liek i said the car runs strong dosent smoke at all can anyone give me some pointers

Could you give a little more explination on how the pistions are moving bc i dont understand what you mean by a little play.

i mean they are moving side too side when there in the block u can move the in a circle

OK well that's normal. Most of the time you can get by with .0'' to .05" of play from the piston to cylinder wall.
