I was told that the stock bottom end of a b16a2, is good for spinning to 9k rpms, it's just that the cams don't keep up. My question is, how high can the b16 spin stock, then how high can it spin with ITR cams and upgraded valve components. I would like to spin high and stay N/A, but I like the Idea of the Jackson Racing Super Charger. So let me know. K thanks.

Its safe the say anything in the 8000-8500rpms range is safe..the b16a cams vtec lopes are alittle bit more agressive then the gsr's..
If you want to spin high do it right, the first damn time..
I've been running the Crower full race valve train for over 2 years now, reving my type-r to 9400+
dual races valves springs + Ti-retainers and i haven't had a problem, i've been threw 3 sets of cams too..
B16a cams will making power all the way to 8000 but it drops off..a b16 because of its small displacement is goin to have to rev higher to make power..but it creates more stress..i highly HIGHLY suggest u do not sping it above 8500 for that creates more wear and tear on the motor..
Yes i'm running a stock block, but my block is WAY more stronger then a b16's..plus i have light weight pistons that are coated, and can handle the higher revs and higher heat then your pistons..do NOT take it above 8500 unless u put some serious money in ur valve train and some forged internals..

Probably but even then..you'll only need to rev to 8204, which is your redline as of now anyway..
Reving really high and FI dont really mix most of the time..specially if it isn't done correctly..depends on funds my man..thats all its about..money talks.

Well this is true.. by on the mic i used, the primaries were bigger on the gsr then the b16's... but the vtec lope on the b16a's was roughly 1-3 bigger then the gsr's..in that case it was only xx1-3 bigger then the whole duration and lift..your right tho, maybe i'm wrong but i just measured them awhile back because i ran b16a cams in my type-r lol..i didn't think they were in there tho..but it ran great... nothing compared to now but ya..
