what kind of chip? pre-tuned? crome? hondata? neptune?
as for how much of a gain in terms of numbers, every car is unique. you will need to get on a dyno and find out for yourself.

yes you should notice more power how much or how little is something you can't tell for sure till you do it though
not necessarily. you may think you notice a gain, but its mostly placebo. the 1 or 2 whp gained from a simple intake modification can't really be felt. although people will swear by it because they wanna justify modifying their cars.
in my mr2, even 12whp didn't feel significantly different.
in the M3, using 100 octane gas gives me almost 30whp more over 91 and i can *barely* feel a difference.

well i ment the cam/chip should and the more power you have the more it takes to feel it. 414 to 444 hp in your M3 not really noticeable if you add the same 30 HP to his 125 BHP car he gets 155 that's a lot more noticeable difference

and we don't know if you'll notice a gain. d-series are trash anyway if you want n/a power. it's an econo motor with a vtec setup that isn't even there for hp. unless you boost it, i wouldn't touch the motor.
