tech wrench Intake Manifold

I know my factory d17 intake manifold is probably restictive..
aside from having it machined, what other options so I have..

Is there an aftermarket intake manifolk such as a venom, blox, skunk2 or anything like that available for my engine that will bolt on (even as a DIY)

I was told DH-Racing was crooked

Lord knows I don't know the facts.. but someone told me not to do business w/ dh-racing.
That's all i found myself

A fellow tuner suggested a D16 series venom manifold.. it WILL bolt on, but some of the wiring was guesswork he said... What do you guys think?

I've heard quite a few bad things about dh-racing as well. I wouldn't recommend them.
