a blind deaf monkey could run circles around people on this site. but in all honesty if you use common sense. an intercooler would just be more restrictive longer path to the intake manifold. you would lose hp,tq,and throttle response through out your power band. also a short ram intake vs cold air intake do roughy the same thing on all hondas with exceptions to the k-series simply because a sri would sit near the exhaust manifold on a k-motor and just suck hot air. but on pretty much any other motor the sri will have better throttle repsonse and the cai wouldn't have about a tiny advantage until it becomes heat soaked which is roughly 10 minutes of decent driving. and unless you're doing full throttle pulls at 80 mph or higher the cold air intake has no real gains

i'm 17  not to be messed up, but glustic is right. Give up on cars. Who would ever put an intercooler on their car with no turbo? that's just a waste of time and a waste of money. You would know that if you weren't new to cars.

i'll sell you me intercooler ('01 7.3L powerstroke) for 100 bucks and you can go nuts.
..and i can turn around and buy one from a 6.0L and the hardware to mount it up and a 6 pack.
