Iridium plugs suck for hondas
I have tried all three big brand iridium plugs with my b18c and they all suck ass. They are great at first but for some reaon their performance seems to degrade over short ammounts of time...like 6 months then they fail. I've had NGK V-power plugs now for about 8 months and they are absolutly fabulous. Same if not better performance and idle at a fraction of the cost (1.99 a plug at super autobachs) but they keep up the good work. Very happy with these plugs just wanted to let you guys in on my good experience with them.

I wouldn't say iridium spark plugs suck for all hondas, but here's a overview on spark plugs for anybody interested.

Duh...even muscle car guys and bikes prefer to use NGK plugs..thats because they don't suck. Irridums are supposed to last longer though, but...your car could just be fouling them out with oil or running rich etc...did you look at the plugs and compare them to a chart to see what could be causing them to foul out?

Its not so much that they are fouling its just they stop being reliable after time..sputtering starts and shiz..when I get new plugs it goes away so its obviously them. I have my motor tuned and timed just right. The plugs come out golden brown each time just how you want them. Timings good, air/fuel's good. When I start burning oil is when I rebuild the sucker haha.

Denso Iridiums ik20's aren't junk at all. I like NGK V-power myself but I've had good luck with both. Now as far as NGK wires compared to the MSD wires I just bought, it's not even close, MSD wires rock NGK's, summit even told me NGK wires are a basic oem replacement they do absolutely nothing as far as perfomance. Read the back of an MSD box and you'll see what I'm talking about!

plug wires arent gonna help any, anyway, unless you are pushing 350+whp turbo or 215+ all motor.

All I'm saying is the MSD wires are a hell of a lot better than the NGK ones I just took off! Wires are wires but the construction of the MSD is far equal to the NGK's, should be for 80 bucks for a set of wires!

I have always used the NGK V power plugs. WHat I think is great is they get a little better with use. When I have a few 1000 miles on them and I am pulling them and trading for new ones so I can read my plugs, I always seen to loose a little power.
