great midrange/top-end power. loss of some low end. incredibly loud, can be difficult to tune properly. Proper air filters for them.

does it matter what or how high of compression youll have if you use the itbs im planning on using somewhere in the 11s for my compression

well why would you have a low comp ratio 4cyl with itb's? the motor is going to be reving pretty high since you'll be needing the itb's for added flow uptop. and the higher reving motors tend to have higher comp ratios or your motor will be over cambed

You would probably want 11:1 or higher with at least a stage2 n/a cam.

itb's are a bad choice for your first mod. imo, they should be the last thing done to an already built engine when you have nothing left to throw on.
