Opinions on my setup to be B18

Okay- Right now I have a GSR Motor in my hatch it has a ported head with CTR Pistons and USDM ITR Pistons and Rods- The block was honed and head has 6 angle valve job- The head is milled. I have an AEM FPR and Fuel Rail. Custom header, Skunk2 Cam Gears, skunk2 intake manifold, Skunk2 chipped P28- I rev the car out to 9k but have hit 10k a few times- Now car smokes when in Vtec- So I'm going to build the bottom end- With Integra LS Crank Eagle Rods, CP 85mm 12.5 compression pistons. (I will actually be getting some 10.5:1 or so pistons putting the compression at about 12.5) Since I'm getting an LS Crank will I need new bearings or will the GSR's work??? A shop told me $300 for bearings??? Horsepowerfreaks told me to use the stock ones??? I will also be getting 310cc injectors and a VAFC2- Damn I post some stupid stuff- Someone here can help tho.

you're gonna need to sleeve and bore it out for those pistons. how do you figure 10.5:1 pistons will put you at 12:1?

you need something better than a vafc to tune it with.

I put 85mm Bore 89mm stroke, stock b18c1 head cc per chamber- 1 layer head gasket since the head is milled- 3.74 pistom dome and it brings me up to 12 something and that is a small dome! Am I doing something wrong- I'm going to use only the vafc until I can get money for neptune.

are you using the www.zealautowerks.com calculator?

you need to make sure the values you enter are accurate. go to cp's website and look at the catalog for the part # of the pistons you want to use. it'll have all the specs.

and buying a vafc now just to upgrade to something better down the line is a waste of money. cutting up your wiring harness for a vafc would suck too. save up and do it right the first time.
