p 72 rods

ok i got a simple question whats the max revving that the p72 rods can handle, and whats the diferensses betwen p72 and p73 rods???

dont wrry about the head i got everiting that i need for a high reving head.

hey maybe u should try searching a little, but im going to help u out a little.....how high are u trying to rev, what do u have in the head that will let u make power any higher than gsr/ itr rods already rev too?

I have skunk 2 stage 2 cams, skunk 2: valves, springs, retainers, i have a competition head work: port polish, valve job, lap etc..
also got p 73 pisitons, sk2 im, dc ports 4_1 header.

gsr rods and itr rods are the same thing.
i rev my s2s2's to around 9400rpms.. but i dont see any reason for YOU to rev yours higher then 8500 right now. is it tuned? What else do you have, only reason i carry my rev up that high is because it makes power that high, get it dynoed and see where the power stops.

im abouo tunne so if makes power up to 9k or 9.5k i want to make sure that my rods can handle that much, have saw a few broken rods on race cars and that fucks everything including tha head, so thats my concern.

thanks and if you know something se it would be usefull to me. are the p72 and p73 really the same aryou sure i ñnow that it both have the same shape but the materials are the same the weight etc..??

I'm still running a stock bottem end from a 99 usdm itr on my setup.. and its been reved to 10k+ mutliple times and i haven't cracked it open in about 4 years of abuse, and its taken alot..take care of your motor and it will take care of you, i change the oil once a month along with the sparkplugs and wires, i keep everything top notch so i CAN beat on it.
only difference from a gsr/itr crank is the itr is slightly lighter, but not by much, same rod length, p73 pistons have a slightly higher dome as well which is why compression is usually bumped up .4 or .6 when using p73 vs p72

ok thats very good for me, deferensses betwen the pistons are many, but you are telling me that rods are the same ok.

do you know some engine with p72 rods reving that high.

i ask that many times because i live in colombia and t is very dificult to find parts for my car.
