Pictures & Dyno sheet of an oem parts ls/vtec build.

These are pics & info on a motor that I put together for a friend. The setup has been in his car now for about 8 months with 10k on it daily driven on 93 oct.

Assembling the new ITR head....

Dyno Sheet w/ good old florida intake temps & a 2.25 inch exhaust w/ a high flow cat:


Note: The sniffer/wideband wasnt reading partial throttle very well, hence the wierd throttle tip in. The sheet I printed wasnt of the last run. The last run was richend up a little more towards low 13:1 a/f ratio.


Specs are:
Ls/Vtec specs estimated 12.3:1 estimated compression ratio
B18a1 block/rods/crank
Arp rod bolts
CTR .25 over pistons
Ls headgasket
Brand New 2001 ITR head & cams
AEBS intake manifold & a 65mm throttle body
Skunk2 Cam Gears
Golden eagle lsvtec line kit & dowels
Chipped ecu running a custom program.
Exedy clutch w/ oem b16 flywheel
2000 b16 transmission
B&m fpr set at 51 psi & guage
AEM intake
Powersteering bypassed
JDM itr header & Greddy Evo Exhaust with a highflow resignator

dxTYPE-R will become famous soon enough
very nice....building my ls/vtec as we speak....pretty similar parts aswell....im using pr3 pistons....other then that saaame setup....btw is there a reason y u used the ls headgasket and not the one provided by GE??....
