you're gonna need some big cams to help with all that compression. pro3's or similar.

Crowers stage 3's are nothing like skunk2 stage 3's, and Skunk2 stage 3's are nothing like skunk2 pro3's.

Crowers are the smallest, being slightly smaller than Skunk2 Stage 2's.

Then the Skunk2 Stage 3's, and the Pro3's being the biggest.

With all that compression, you would want to use it to your benefit and get some monster cams in there. Talk to Larry from Endyn, he should be able to set you up with exactly what you want.

No, the Gs-r will do Just Fine, the Ls crank is bigger, so it will not Rev as Fast like the Gs-r Crank, and it will also bump your Compression up, and make your 1.8 around to a 1.9

Keep your GS-R CRANk

The LS crank will not hurt the revability, and it will only bump the displacement from 1797cc's to 1834cc's.

If youre looking for a reliable, OEM, upgraded crank- look to the ITR crank. It is weighted and balanced, making it slightly heavier than the GSR crank which results in more stability at high RPMs.

Would you recomend him/her to use a LS crank, with Such high Compression??

the Way i see it Itr crank > Gs-r crank > Ls crank

A friend of mine has a fully built B18C1 using a Golden Eagle forged LS crank with 12.5:1+ compression and monstrous Endyn cams. 84.5mm bore, wiseco pistons, the works. He made 200whp on a mustang dyno with a bunch of stock parts still on there. Hes probably at 220whp on a mustang dyno now, which is around 245whp on a mustang dyno.

He does pretty well with the LS crank, and doesnt have a problem revving to 9500. The LS crank has its benefits, as does the ITR crank.

if i was gonna use a bigger crank i'd go 92mm or bigger. screw stock stroke.

going from a gsr crank to an itr crank is a perfectly good waste of money
