quick questions about itb's

i have heard that they are a bitch to tune. is this true and if tuned properly is it worth it for daily driving? and also how much power can you pull from running just the itb's without head or bottom end work?

sorry if this sounds noobish!

itb's look cool that is about it, especially it is yor daily driver. can be great if your car is fully built and you only run it on the track. other than that it's not worth it. IMO.

false.

What experience do you have with them? did you achieve your opinion by reading internet forums?

ok so I must not understand what itb's must mean. to this means intake throttle bodies, as in velocity stacks. if I'm wrong then explain to me what I'm missing here. I donot clain to be perfect or know everthing out there. I'm here to learn just like everyone else.

itb's are not a drop in and go item. they require lots of tuning to get running correctly yes. some will say you can make more peak power with a regular ported manifold and tb. but properly sized itb's can provide a much better powerband overall and much better throttle response.

imo, itb's should be the last thing you do to an already built engine.

this topic has been covered more then once, with my threads or my replies to threads that were made. Search , it works i promise.
As for Them being daily driven, its possible, i daily drive mine just fine. Just recently yesterday i had to recaliberate them because things were coming loose from abuse. Had to tighten them down extra good, took about 3 hours, cause i had to make sure they all close all the way, and open all the way, in the end..their great i love em. Would never own another motor without them. Just read up on them, their not a bitch to tune if u know how too, took me roughly 2 hours for a good street tune, with the correct AFR.
