rocket m22x cams and other goodies!! (56k be warned!! lots of pics)

lets get right to the good stuff....

Rocket M22x cams

exhaust cam

intake cam

RM modified autolite spark plugs

RM gen2 valvesprings

RM titanium retainers

Omnipower vavles

unfortunately, none of this stuff is mine. i ordered these and had them delivered to my house for a friend who was moving at the time.

he is piecing together a b20vtec build into his civic hatch. so far he has a b20b block, stock b16 head, golden eagle lsvtec kit, and this new stuff. next on the list are 11.5:1 cp pistons and eagle rods and work on the bottom end.

i must give a big to www.kteller.com for the great service and killer price and to Rocket for the awesome cams.

Hope they don't break! Thread over on HT about a set breaking.

Why on earth would you want to run the cheapest POS plugs known to man that have been dremeled by hand is beyond me. I want a plug that has been machined and is within the very tight specs that places like ngk use, not a hand dremeled plug.

As Rocket put what? Funny he might say something like that since he is the one making $$$ of you buying them.

Read the whole thing, a few times. Yeah he is getting more, but that doesn't make it better. The cams broke, prolly ruined valves and more. I'd rather have cams that don't break. That's my .02! I'm not hating, but the cams did break. I guess saying a set of cams broke, that really did break is hating.

rocket himself admitted this is the 4-5 set he's seen broken. out of hundreds sold already. every company has a batch of cams that break at one point or another. and most of those companies wouldnt take care of him after they broke like rocket is doing.

I heard that crower had a few issues at first that they did not cover, but in the most part they did. Jun, toda and skunk2 took care of cam breaks so fast it was scary. There have been many of those companies cams break and when they were still young they took care of it fast. I have seen posts that jun covered what ever else it broke inside the motor too.

But yeah they have had broken cams too. They refunded or replaced most of them. That is how they stayed in buisness and got to be very big companies. They took care of them and they did it really fast.

4-5 out of a hundred is not odds I would like when it came to cams, but I think my bro was just trying to show you that they can break nothing more. You seem way to defensive for a simple discussion.
