honda accord hybrid - factory warranty?

im about to buy a honda accord hybrid from a non-honda dealership. it is an 05 and it has approximately 25k miles on it.

my question is, does honda offer any warranty on the battery/electric system above and beyond its factory warranty even though it is not a certified pre-own from a honda dealer?

also, is the engine the same as a regular accord engine? would hybrid be problematic down the road?
