New Accord

I would love to know if anyone on the board has bought a Hybrid Accord yet. I have saw testing showing it faster then all other Accords. Its billed as the top of the line Accord also. Anyone got one?

No I am for alternate means of propulsion for cars but I am wondering how we will be able to tune them and make them go faster, like we have been doing ever since the first car came out. Has there been anything done to the new hybrids yet? Has anyone started to boost there performance? Well, this is kind of off topic but it always gets my curiosity going. Thanks

eventually they will not have any choice...that is if fossil fuels run out and there is nothing to take its place. I was just wondering if there was anything you could do to enhance performance because I know nothing about them. It doesn't really matter because I don't have one, I was just curious.

mod the power management system to discharge the electricity without any resistance to the electric motor.... electric motors have thousands of ft/lbs of torque at zero and up rpm's, which would eleminate that bad off the line performance of torqueless honda cars, but then again the added weight of the batteries/hybrid system could even things out, but i mean don't gut it up, it's a nice car, i want one

Accord Hybrid

I picked up 2 Accords wife 4cycl me Hybrid. We traded in an 04 escalade and 05 Cts V I was done paying for gas. I love these 2 cars savings just in gas is great. For what I was paying for escalade equals these 2 cars. The Hybrid I am very easy with it average speed Hwy speed 70 the best gas mileage so far 31 almost 32 I drive half Hwy and half city average miles per day is about 60 miles.
